Take your time and purl

last minute purled beret

This is the Last Minute “Purled” Beret by Wendy Bernard knitted in Noro Kochoran

It does fit my head perfectly, but you all know my recent trials with the self-timer. I did try to take a photo of me and the beret. But it came out either blurry, with only my nose showing or with an insane facial expression. So I did the only logical thing and bribed my daughter with a lollipop to get a good detail shot of the beret. Lucky kid. Happy mama.

Ah, I bet you were hoping to see a finished sweater? I lost my patience with the fiddly sewing of the kids sweaters and had to have a quick fix. Besides, that Noro Kochoran yarn is way too soft and lovely to sit on a shelf for too long.

Snygg!

Tackar Gunilla! Jackan måste vara urhärlig att sticka.

I promise, I will not bribe my child with sugar ever again! =)

Vilket fint foto - och underbart vacker mössa och supersöt dotter!

think of the sugar as an ‘incentive’, not a bribe! :)

Ha! Candy is the only way I can get my kid to do anything! Your daughter is a beautiful girl and the beret looks very nice. I’ll have to check out the Noro Kochoran; I’ve never seen it before.

great quicky this one, love it! I’m still learning how to get a daily routine with little Iep and squeeze in some knitting. Haven’t been very succesfull so far… working on it. I managed to design and knit a toy ‘Space Invader’ from the early computergame. It’s cool but needs some work so I’m redoing it. And I want to make a robot too. It’s my way of mixing the digital world with the natural world of knitwear. How about that modern parenting huh… ;-)

Love the hat and glad to know I am not the only one that has to bribe my daughter to model crafty stuff! ;)

oh the hat is so cute on her! i made one for my friend, and she brought it camping last weekend, and she said she slept with it on to keep her warm and to keep the light out in the morning!
