Cloud on my tongue

I had some great news a little while back and suddenly all craftiness sort of paused for a little while. Nowadays I can be sure that it eventually comes back. I know I cannot stop crafing for long periods. Knitting, crocheting and other crafty stuff is a grounding experience for me. My head is still left in a cloud, but I have got my unfinished Hedera with me today and I am hoping that this sock resembling a ground-creeping ivy can bring me a bit closer to earth.

I am so tired all the time and I am tired of being tired. The summer is here and all the stupid grasses are blooming. In a week or so I should be feeling a bit less stuffy in the head. Stupid allergies! I do not want to be weak. The worst part of this is that I have a lot less patience for my family and my home is falling prey to dust bunnies the size of sheep. I hope they will forgive and forget (the family that is, not the sheep).

At least I have had some time to think about what I would wnat to knit next. My choice, I think, has fallen on a lace shrug from Interweave Knits, Summer 2005 - the Flower Power Shrug. The pattern is included in the staff project pdf file “Shoulder Shrugs“. I would love to use a pure silk or a silk blend for it. Well, a girl can dream, can she not?
