I will not write a lot today, my eyes hurt and my head spins. This is not a day for stories, but for pictures!

This is the result of my bead and yarn experiment. Those beads were difficult to manage on a yarn like Noro Kureyon which varies both in colour and texture. It is basically an I-cord with beads, nothing too complicated. My husband says it is the prettiest thing I have ever knitted.
Too bad it is not my colours!
I have had a small fear of certain knitting tecniques, like lace and bead knitting, which I cannot explain fully. I seems a bit silly now. However, I think I might have conquered both with this necklace and the Hedera Socks below.

Look how far I have come on the Hedera! Now there is only the Heel Fright, the Finishing Phobia and the Second Sock Syndrome to get over.

I have survived the parties of my now four-year-old daughter and I have actually done some knitting. If I were not so dazed by allergies I could have posted some photos, but my vision is constantly blurred. Seriously!
I have also been thinking a bit about integrity. My own is turned up so high it might scare people of I am afraid. I am just a bit shy, that is all. But I find a a kind of comfort in reading blogs about sick cats, aches and pains and worries about this and that. I even try to give a word of comfort or offer some kind stupid advise sometimes. I hope it works, most of the time.
If I can find all the bits and pieces of my camera I’ll be able to show you a photo of a finished object, the “Purled Beret”. I have also started on the Hedera Socks even if it took a while to decide which yarn I wanted to use for them. I think I might have caught the lace bug after all because there is a soft voice in my head whispering lace shawl, lace shawl…
